Have you ever spent time standing in front a mirror picking apart your appearance and wishing there were things that you could change? If so, there’s a good chance you might have actually considered plastic surgery. But the thought of undergoing an invasive surgery to achieve the results you’re looking for might not exactly be pleasant.

After all, not only do you have the surgery itself along with anesthesia and scars, there’s also the downtime to consider. Downtime after surgery can be lengthy, and you might not be able to take the time off from work that your body will need to heal. Then, of course, there’s the cost. This alone can be enough to frighten off even those who might not be all that scared of the procedures.

Times are changing, as are the ways that medical aesthetic treatments are being performed. In fact, the technology now used for medical aesthetic treatments is becoming so advanced that plastic surgery is no longer the only option. At Clarity, we pride ourselves on offering the latest treatments available. so that you don’t necessarily have to undergo an invasive procedure to achieve the results you’re looking for.

Here are four of our favorite highly advanced medical aesthetics treatments that can replace plastic surgery.

1. FaceTite

FaceTite by InMode utilizes RFAL, or radio frequency assisted lipolysis, technology. It’s a facial contouring treatment that works to tighten skin. It does this by dissolving excess fat cells under the skin while stimulating collagen production both below and on the skin’s surface. This is done with the use of a handheld applicator called FaceTite. This applicator looks like a lobster claw – with a round electrode on one end delivering radio frequency energy to the top of skin while the other end of the claw is a thin tube or canula that is inserted under the skin’s surface simiultaneously delivering radio frequency energy.

The skin is essentially enveloped in radio frequency energy and is tightened instantly. Using FaceTite, we are able to sculpt the jaw, lift sagging jowls, and eliminate a double chin. Because of this, it can be used to replace a face lift in many situations.

2. PDO Thread Lift

A PDO thread lift involves the use of polydioxanone (PDO) suture threads to lift and reposition the skin on the face, chin, and neck. The PDO threads are inserted under your skin in a lattice pattern. They then act as a scaffold that holds your skin up against the natural effects of gravity.

After the threads are inserted, they stimulate your body’s natural collagen production. The threads are absorbable, and gradually absorb within four to six months, leaving behind the newly formed scaffold, which continues to help keep your skin lifted for up to the next 12-24 months. A PDO thread lift is another great option to a achieve the results of a mini face lift without the surgery.

3. AccuTite

AccuTite is the little sister to FaceTite. Just like FaceTite, it utilizes RFAL technology to tighten skin and liquefy fat cells under the skin. And like FaceTite, AccuTite uses a double-sided probe to deliver radio frequency energy both internally and externally. However, AccuTite is specifically designed to treat smaller areas of the body. It is a small, but mighty, tool that can lift your brows, tighten droopy lids, and reduce bags under the eyes, replacing surgical skin tightening procedures like a blepharoplasty (eye surgery) or browlift.

4. Liquid Rhinoplasty

Whether you’ve always been unhappy with your nose or it’s changed due to a traumatic injury or getting older, this unhappiness can have a substantial impact. Your nose is incredibly prominent, and it’s pretty difficult to hide. For a long time, the only solution to change the nose was a rhinoplasty, or surgical nose job. A surgical nose job is a permanent change to your face, and this isn’t always a good thing. Enter non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Also called a liquid nose job, this treatment uses dermal fillers to alter and improve the shape of your nose. Dermal fillers can help to eliminate the appearance of bumps or contour and reshape the nose. They can also help a slightly crooked nose appear straighter or soften sharp angles. The results are magical. Please note that a liquid nose job cannot reduce the size of a large nose, so if a smaller nose is what you’re after, your best bet may still be surgery.

Technology is pretty incredible. With these treatments, we are able to help patients achieve amazing results without having to undergo invasive cosmetic surgery. These treatments are non-surgical, require no anesthesia, have little downtime, and cost thousands less than surgical procedures. And, in most cases, the results can closely mimic surgical results.

However, it is important to note that while these treatments may offer results close to plastic surgery in many cases, there are some cases where they cannot. For this reason, a consultation is essential for determining if these non-surgical treatments are right for you.

How I select which treatment options are right for you is in large part why our patients are so happy with their results.  Over 14 years of experience in medical aesthetics and an artistic approach ensure our patients achieve the best outcomes.
