Am I an appropriate candidate for FaceTite/AccuTite?
The best way to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for FaceTite or AccuTite is to schedule a free consultation at Clarity. Candidates for these treatments are those who might be considered candidates for a facelift or mini facelift, but who don’t want to undergo an invasive surgical procedure. During your consultation, Kati will examine your face and go over your specific concerns to help determine if either of these treatments is the right solution for you.
What do I need to do to prepare for my treatment?
While FaceTite and AccuTite are minimally invasive procedures, there is some preparation that you will need to do before your treatment. It’s recommended that you schedule a few days off from work while you recover. Patients are required to wear a face wrap continuously for 72 hours after their treatment. If you are a smoker, you should plan to quit. Smoking slows down healing. Certain medications that thin your blood should also be avoided for at least 3 weeks prior to your scheduled treatment. We will go over any prescription and over the counter medications, as well as any herbs or supplements that you take as well.
On the day of your procedure, you will need a designated driver. Make sure that you have a comfortable place to rest in an upright position. It couldn’t hurt to have a good book within reach or your favorite movies ready to go.

Are the FaceTite/AccuTite treatments painful or uncomfortable? What types of anesthesia do you use?
One of the amazing things about FaceTite and AccuTite is that the treatments are comfortable. A combination of oral medications and local anesthetic is used to keep you very comfortable. No general anesthesia is required. Swelling and/or bruising are common after this procedure. You may also have mild tenderness or numbness at the treatment area, but that’s really about it.
What areas can be treated with FaceTite/AccuTite?
FaceTite is an excellent alternative to a traditional facelift for many patients. It can treat sagging skin along the jawline (which leads to the appearance of jowls), mild submental fullness (more commonly known as a double chin), and crepey skin on the neck. It’s also great treating the knees and other small select areas on the body.
AccuTite is the little sister to FaceTite. It’s a smaller, but still incredibly mighty tool that is designed to treat smaller areas of the face and body. It’s excellent for treating the brows, the upper and lower eyelids, the nasolabial folds (the lines that run from the sides of your nose to the edges of your mouth), the lower third of your face, and your neck. It can also be used to treat axilla bra fat (also called armpit fat), the upper arms, your hands, your abdomen, your thighs, and your knees.

Will there be any downtime with FaceTite/AccuTite treatments?
Downtime following FaceTite or AccuTite treatments are minimal. For the first 72 hours after your treatment, you will need to wear a compression garment continuously. After that, it will need to be worn for a few more weeks but only at night. You may have some bruising and swelling, which may last for several days up to a few weeks. Most patients are typically back to their normal routine in just a few days after treatment. The little downtime you do have, however, can yield results that last a lifetime. The contouring you receive from your FaceTite or AccuTite treatment is permanent.
